Coming to the US - need vintage fair info

I will be in the US from September 3rd to October 7th this year. Spending 8 days in New York then travelling down to Miami then driving slowly across the country to Detroit for a Balboa dance camp.

What I would like to know is does anyone know where I can get a listing of antique and vintage clothing fairs for the US. Can you recommend the best ones to me also. Doesn't matter where they are at this point as I'm flexible after Miami, just want to keep them fairs in mind.

One of my friends in the 20s to 40s Syndicate told me about a HUGE vintage clothing and deco fair that was held somewhere in t US each year. Anyone know it?

The fair that your friend is talking about is the "Vintage Fashion Expo". The calendar is here:

Your best bet is the expo in San Francisco on September 16-17.

I've been going to that expo since 1990. It is FANTASTIC.

Your friend may actually have been refering to the even larger Art Deco and Modernism sale that comes to San Francisco twice a year as well. Unfortunately, it's in June and December.
