Comfortable Shoes

I'm looking for comfortable shoes, really comfortable i.e. can do a couple of miles walking in them.
Walking boots are one option that immediately come to mind, but they don't look so great with a suit . Can anyone recommend where to get/ what brands do comfortable loafer-type shoes. My preference is lace-less but it's not essential.
Black or brown really.

I am in the UK but if anyone knows of any brans/makes in the US, I'm sure can do something.

A good walking shoe will be a rubber soled lace-up with a padded tongue. Loafers are not a good choice for walking great distances as there will be too much foot movement within the shoe.

I like the Mephisto dress line for when I do a lot of walking or for inclement weather which I wouldn't want to subject my better shoes.
