Color Question

My Dad told me that when he got out of the Navy in 1956, the first thing he did was buy a powder blue suit and looked for a job. I hate to say this, but I don't think I've ever seen a powder blue suit. Or anything in powder blue for that matter. Does anyone have any examples?

I have a mid 50's light blue wool suit with patch pockets and a light blue fleck sports jacket. Unfortunately, they are still put away with winter things.

Anyway, they do exist and were somewhat common.

And then 20 years later came the baby blue tuxes, leisure suits, and jackets.
