A couple of quick questions to the Lounge...

Have you heard of this hat maker?

The hats don't impress me, from what I can see. I have one Col. item, a shoehorn (the slipperstick), and it's one of my favorite things.

Personally, I don't think much of it. I never have liked the eyelets in fur felts (or on any hat, in fact-- they remind me of a safari hat, too much). Col. Littleton is foremost a leather company, so I am a bit unsure of what they would do with a fur felt hat. As far as their knives go, I can attest to those as the highest quality. But a hat? No.

Orvis one of the Col. Littleton hats offered on their website. It is interesting for me to get the thoughts about these hats from those who know a lot more than I do.

I own a Colonel Littleton hat

and like it very much. No lining, nothing overly fancy, but a great comfortable hat that is impervious to rain, etc. I wear mine alot in all kinds of weather. Never a problem. Nice leather band. I recommend it for a great basic hat.

Although you could save up a bit more and get a custom from Mike!
