Cloth cord for telephone

I need some help from the telephone experts here. I got a bakelite wall mounted telephone, and being wallmounted it doesn't have the cord for the plug. Since I don't want to break my wall to get the "wall plug" higher I was thinking to put in a cord. I was wondering if anyone here knows where to get a cloth cord and since I'm in europe, can I still get an american cord? I don't relly know how these thing works, to me a cord is just a cord...

Check with then about the application, but they should be able to get the cord you need for sure!

You may also contact a telephone company in your area or a handy man who may be good with old phones and could mount it on the wall with little or no damage to the wall.
