Clearout Sale #30 - Buzz Rickson's M-1943 Field Jacket Liner

The US Army issued numerous variants of the liner during WWII, yet most were produced in relatively small numbers; they were not issued as a twofer with the M-1943 Field Jacket and I'm unsure how it was decided who got one and who didn't...perhaps it was dependent on the temperatures where the soldiers were to be stationed?

Buzz have produced 2 versions of the liner, one with pile-lined body and blanket-lined sleeves, the other pile-lined throughout. I have one of each, but first up am offering here the latter, since it's new and unworn...when temps have been cold enough for it, I've instead worn my N-1 Deck Jacket.

It should be noted that the liner does not attach to the Field Jacket and to all intents and purpose should be considered a jacket rather than a liner. Outer: Water Resistant Cloth 80/3 Ply Combed Cotton Twill; Inner: Alpaca and Wool Pile (100% Alpaca).

Though tagged a 36R it fits larger, measurements being Chest 20" / Shoulders 17" / Length 26" / Sleeves 25".

Price of the current model in Japan is ¥74,800, with Buzz's European arm selling them for £650! I'm offering this for £270 / US$340 plus shipping (and any fees, though these can be avoided by using Paypal F+F).
