I just discovered some vintage womens clothing stowed in one of my old luggages. I found an early 50s grey gab skirt suit, 50s lambswool skirt suit, 40s hounds tooth blazer, and a bunch of full slips 50s - 60s. I'll post pics soon.

Please bear with me

I apologize for leaving out any important details. The slips are tagged "32". I don't know if that's a bust size or what. I'm an ignoramus when it comes to women's vintage. The houndstooth tweed blazer has a 36 bust as does the grey gab suit. The lambswool skirt suit has a 26 inch waist as the top is open front and I really couldn't get a bust measurement. These were stowed maybe 14 years ago when I first started buying and selling vintage. I was very embarrassed when it came to picking women's stuff especially in thrift stores and yard sales. So I must have stashed these in a Samsonite I never used and forgot about it. Pics are coming . . . I promise.

Yes, it's a bust size.

What is the waist measurement on the blazer and skirt of the grey gab suit? also, what is the hip measurement? Sleeve length? Shoulder width measurement? Skirt length? What is the condition? Any fading or holes from storage? I'm potentially very interested (depending on price) if the measurements are right!

Howdy, The waist on the blazer is 29" and the skirt 27". I'm assuming the hip is the widest part on the garment below the waist? That was 36" coat and skirt. Sleeves are 23". Coat length is 28". Shoulders were 16" and skirt 28" long. It's a wool gab with rayon crepe lining and surprisingly no moth damage. There is some collar and cuff soiling from sweat and there are some spots on the front perhaps from a spilled drink(see pics). Dry cleaning it could fix it maybe.
