civil flight crew uniforms?

Hello,

being an airline person (both by profession and passion) I am looking for flight crew uniforms of civil airlines from the late 1940s to the mid 1960s. Of special interest are airlines like BOAC or in particular Pan Am - yes, I admit being a fan of "Catch me if you can" ;).

Does anyone know where one could find original uniform bits for a pilot and stewardess uniform except Ebay? Alternatively it would also help to have a pattern for those. The pilot's suit should be not too difficult to recreate from a normal black suit, however for the lady's suit more creativity is needed.
We found a tailor that can create a pattern from photos, of which we have many. Nevertheless, it is of course easier not to reinvent the wheel again in case such patterns alreeady exist somewhere?

Some links:
PanAm 1950s: http://www.everythingpanam.com/1950s_People.html
BOAC 1950s: http://www.bamuseum.com/50-60.html

Any help is highly appreciated - and I hope that I posted this request in the right section of the forum.

Cheers,
Tom

My wife has a couple of stewardess uniforms made by "Delta Uniforms New York". These were either Colonial or Eastern uniforms from the 50's, most likely Eastern. One is green and the other is brown. Both have hats with hat pins. There is also a leather purse with a thick metal tag from Eastern and a nice Colonial Stewardess badge. This stuff is all in excellent condition.
