Ciano Farmer: New Fit 972

I thought these might be of some interest here. I had been going back and forward with Ciano to try to get a fit that I liked. I have a long back and short legs for my height. As a result I like quite a high rise. Ciano was very patient as the measurements I sent him from my LVC 1933 501 XX were just not lining up with his patterns. Eventually he came up with a new fit, his 972 'Miner' Fit. I like the fit of my 1933 LVC but not so keen on the cinch back or braces (suspenders) buttons. These are pretty close to that fit. In size 38 the rise is 14 inches. This pair are 14oz cone selvedge indigo. This construction is flawless and the denim is one of the nicest I have come across. I now have three pairs of CF and another on the way.

He needs a fit that's in between his straight and slim, not something that has an even higher rise than his straight

Thank you Cyber Lip for your considered response. I have a pair with a lower rise but posted these on FL (rather that a denim forum) because they fall right in the middle of the Golden Era.

Very nice fit. I will have to follow up. The fourteen inch rise works well for me. Thanks for posting.
