Chris Brown wears "modern" A2 at Grammys

I knew it was non-traditional the second I saw it. It's got wool gatherer on the bottom but zippers on the sleeves. Square flaps on the pockets and stitched epulettes. Any ideas what it might be? I'm stumped.

I wouldn't make the connection to an A2 myself - it's a generic leather "bomber" jacket like so many variations of the utility jacket going back 90 years. Probably Italian lamb and by a designer like Armani...? Do celebrities still like Armaini?

Maybe the A2 influenced one of the jackets which influenced the jacket which influenced this one. In other words, heavily diluted. But it isn't all that bad to look at.

I don't post on here very often anymore, but check out Dierks Bentley sporting a great vintage cafe' racer at the Grammys. I've bought more than a few of these from Insurrection in my neck of the woods... Dierks and I must have the same stylist... ; - )

Here's one of my '60s vintage that I wear on the MC quite often. Not Armani...stylist recommended..or Inserrected..but I like it.

I don't claim to know much about the Grammys (they're the U version of Brits, where the music industry gets together to celebrate itself, yes?), but clearly it's not exactly a formal event. Mind you, it was clearly gonig to be an event of questionable taste anyhow given that it did invite a performance by that Brown man.
