Check this out for a laugh

This is juvenile and stupid, but I have to admit it really made me laugh. I was checking out Okisaka-san's 30's Style site to see if he had anything new up, and I stumbled across a very funny typo.

Go to www.the30sstyle.com, click on Gallery, then click on 7. Sky-blue oatmeal singel-breasted 3-piece suit. When it comes up, read the title of the suit carefully.

bartenders, please remove this if it's not appropriate. I did get a laugh out of it, though.

I just sent him a message about it. I'm sure people would understand it's just a language mix-up, but a very funny one for English speakers.

They sure know how to make a great suit.

I've received an e-mail from the webmaster stating that he'd corrected the error. It was fun while it lasted . . .

Amusing - and always a good reason to look at some of the suits in the collection.

One thing is notable - without exception the coats only have one inside breast pocket. A particularly correct observation on detail of at least English suits of the time.

Any thoughts on this aspect?

There was a typo of the word SUIT. It was funny, even to a prude like me. Benny Holiday emailed the gentleman, who has now fixed it.

I'm glad other people found it funny, I didn't want to offend anybody. For some reason it must have appealed to the silly side of me (yes, I know that's leaving myself wide open for postshots! lol), I found myself chuckling away like a schoolboy when I read it and thought some of you might get a laugh out of it, too.

Ah hah! I could see "suit" post-correction, and I can imagine what the typo was: I'm not a prude. (As of this posting, though, I still see the photo captions in computer code.)
