I think this is a great colour and I love the lapels. But does anyone else think that the combination of peaked lapel and raglan sleeve just does not work? Somehow the seam of the raglan sleeve appearing from behind the wide lapel seems to throw it all off balance.

if it wasn't for that, I'm might be thinking of opening my wallet.

I like that. But not quite enough, especially as I forked out for a CC41 overcoat from them quite recently. Otherwise I might have been tempted.

it does look weird. but there's something odd about the whole look of the front, which is rather tube-like and featureless. if it had normal shoulders, big patch pockets and a belt it would be well tidy ! (as i believe they say in Wales)

yes, that's quite odd-lookin'. I don't like the raglan shoulders, I don't even like the lapels. Everything's just "off".

It is odd. The shapeless body and the big lapels makes me think of a bat wrapped up in its wings. It might look a bit better actually on someone.

Maybe that's why it's still in such good condition - someone bought it thinking they'd be 'cock o' the walk' - only to find it looked ridiculous. So it spent the next 65 years hidden in the back of a wardrobe.
