Caxton Hats

Just a got a nice one from eBay - early 50's by my estimation.
Anyone have any info on the brand? Nothing on google, little here!

I can't find much.

Here's an expired auction that ended with no bids for a Caxton hatbox and some oddities. You should email the seller and see if it's still available - matching hats to their respective brand's hatboxes is always nice, and if it's a rare one, you've got to go for it. I did with my MacLachlan.

I also found a PDF that mentions Caxton Hat Company. I don't know what it's referring to, but it lists them alongside other Connecticut businesses, so you can safely lump them in with one of the many hat producers at the time in the northeast USA.

I have a grey fedora that I tried to sell and now wear pretty regularly.
I had a really nice reddish brown Stratoliner-style Caxton
that I believe I sold to someone on the Lounge. You can find

Caxton Hat box



I am brand new to this web site. I received a Caxton Hat box ( Fifth Avenue New York Hats ) with lid, from my granmother. I don't know anything at all about it. How can I get information for it ? Collectabliity? value?

Can anyone help me ?

Caxton was a small maker of hats. If you would post pictures, some of the more experienced members of the site might be able to tell you more about it, but if it's just an empty hat box, I'd be surprised if it had much value.

Offer up has a Caxton on for sale called a cushionaire... looks really nice but it’s only like. 7 1/4” too small for me
