Casting for a vintage'esque movie...

Some of you ladies and gents, as soon as I seen you in your lovely vintage garb, I immediately think, "I could imagine him/her in such-and-such a movie!!"

Hem, I think I should be cast in "Roman Holiday". I think I love that film more than the former

I, of course, would be Clark Gable or Gary Cooper.
Actually, I would like to be William Powell but I think I'm probably Fred MacMurray.

For some reason I have always seen myself in any role Jean Arthur ever played -- but I fear that realistically I would end up in more of a Patsy Kelly sort of part....

I could see you as Jean Arthur. When I was 4 years old (Dec 1950, GAK!) my grandmother took me to see her in Peter Pan on Broadway. I have only vague memories now. I must say, I also would like to think of myself as William Powell, but would probably have to settle for Guy Kibbee. With a dash of Stan Laurel thrown in.

After seeing this movie, I could really see Salv in a late 40's/early 50's CIA career.
