Capeskin Doniger A-2 for Sale

Normally, I'd post this in vintage finds and deals, but this jacket was the subject of a thread a while back (or one just like it) so I figured I'd post here for all to see.

This jacket used to belong to me (bought from John Chapman).
The label is after market (in lieu of a McGregor label and a replacement for a Bronco label).
I've posted this jacket before on VLJF and FL.

Really nice jacket, but too rare/too fragile for regular wear IMO.

It's a shame John could keep his old capeskin in stock. It would've made a killer copy of this jacket.

He didn't want to, preferring to expand the military range at that time. In any case it's practically identical to the 'no name' Doniger contract, save the zip (Hershey Talon on a pale tape), knits (2-tone green/red weave), label (absent) and of course the cape - and the latter simply isn't available.

Sorry Joel, misunderstood your post. You are right, the old domestic cape would have worked well (very similar to the McGregor/Doniger AN-J-3 that I posted/offered for sale here).
