Are you kidding me? I can't wait for autumn. It's already a pressure cooker down here in Texas. Around tese parts we enjoy only three seasons (and they're best described using the terror threat color coding system of Lewis Black, if you've seen LB on Broadway you'll know what I mean). In polite society these are hot, impossibly hot, and not as hot. We're now entering the middle season.
Summer is too hot at our house! We are the only house on our street with no mature trees, so its like 95 degrees in the backyard in the summer. Our 100+ roses love the heat, but not us!! Every summer when the kids get a checkup (they are both very fair complexioned) the pediatrician says "I see you're doing a good job with sunscreen."- and I say "no I'm not, I don't let 'em out of the house!" We stay inside as much as we can, or go over to walk around in the air conditioned mall and get a lemonade.
