Hi there folks. Came across this A-2 and I would like to ask your help to identify this jacket. It is a very very soft goatskin ( at least I think so, never saw such soft goatskin before). It has a Scovill zipper which I think is from a different jacket. The lining and the knits seem to have been replaced (knits are very good quality). I never saw a collar like that on an A-2, very lomg and pointy and also the shape of the pocket is a little different. Is that perhaps a post 50s civilian version of an A-2? The fit is fairly good, short in the waist and it seems a little too boxy for a military A-2 but I could be wrong. Thanks for your comments and help.
