can u identify this A2 repro please ?

In about 1993 I bought this chocolate brown A-2 in a cool shop in Edinburgh. I know very little about it and I may want to sell it soon. Can anybody tell me a little more about this jacket? I think it aa early

The contract number is of course made up. This A2 appears to be based on the un-named contract A2 contract no 27753, which is generaly thought to be the work of Cable Raincoat Co.

It's an earlier Aero Leather repro. Do not compare these with their current reproductions as these were less authentic in cut and hardware used.

Yes.

I had one- bought it at Greenwich Market, on a Saturday in '95, for a monkey- wore it for 4 years,
then Ken bought it back off me- for a laugh.
Sizing on these runs small- mine was a s44 and fit like a nice s42.
Late '80s... Aero...
Mine was the Connolly- a little darker though.

This is a 42 and fits like a 42, it is definately a trim military fit and I thought it was horsehide.....there you go, shows how much I know about leather...
