Can I post for non leather jackets too?

Hey, so there's quite a few different jackets I'm trying to track down to buy.
Only one of them is leather.
Most of them, I know exactly what I'm looking for, but have absolutely no idea how to actually search for them.
I was wondering if I could post on the forum for help to tracking them down, and the Classifieds to post a purchasing thread for them.
I don't see any indication that *only* leather jackets are allowed, but I also don't see any jackets that aren't leather.
I'm not sure if I'm not looking hard enough, or if it's just leather jackets allowed.
Please let me know

Outerwear is outerwear. Post a photo of what you're looking for and ask the lounge to identify what it is.

Lol! Yeah, you'd get that impression because leather jacket nuts invaded this forum but it was envisioned with more diversity in mind, I'm sure. Nobody even mentions trench-coats anymore... But anyway, posting a non leather jackets is not only allowed but welcomed too so don't worry about it.

Welcome. Outerwear is a space where you can post about literally anything outerwear. This includes - but is by no means limited to - leather jackets. This space is for everyone interested in any aspect of outerwear in the style of or from the early to mid 20th Century. The core area of interest for TFL by design was 30s to 50s, though that has somewhat expanded into the 60s as well in recent years.

Meaning that after I figure out what I'm looking for (as best I can, some are fairly generic, though still specific) I could post in the Classifieds forum with a WTB post.

As far as I am aware, that is fine for the classifieds section. WTB posts are allowed from what I have seen.

It depends. I would not just go and make a bunch of new threads about each of your jackets, but if a thread doesn't already exist about a style of jacket you own, then you could take it upon yourself to start that new thread.
