Can battered stocksman hat be re-born..?

Old battered Australian stocksman hat that's been swimming in the sea off Greece, up in the Himalayas of Nepal, deserts of Rajistan and souks of Tangiers and looks worse for wear.

What possibility of having it re-born as an Indy Fedora..?

It's a rabbit felt drovers hat from Australia (born and bred!) made by Statesman, but could do with a re-birth. So could it be re-dyed to Indy brown, new ribbon, re-block..? and where could I send this. And...is it really worth the cost and effort?

That is a pretty nice hat as it is. It already has real character.

If you are going to try to make it an Indy hat, I hear Peters Brothers in Ft. Worth Texas has had real luck in making the transformation for alot of guys on the Club Obi Won.

The hat looks like it has much smaller dimensions than the Indy, and the crown being low may be the deciding factor. Their may not be enough material to Indy it.
