Hello all,

I've just purchased a hat. It is a black fedora with a 2 7/8, unbound, snap brim. On the liner it says "Genuine Beaver" above the piture of a Beaver standing to the left of a fallen tree. Below that it says, "Custom Made".

On the band it says, "Andrew Cross, 1551...", and the rest has been worn away. Also on the band is, "Beaver xxXxx".

From a paper tag in the hat, I believe the hat was made in December of 1972. The quality appears to be, in a word, astounding. Pictures to follow...

Can anyone tell me about this hat, or its quality.
