Photo2u your burgundy jacket with the nice green lining looks in amazing shape for a 1950's jacket.

Thanks! I love this jacket. However, it does not fit me. It is about a size too big, I think It is for a taller person. I am 5'8. This would fit a 6' person well. You know, the leather is so pliable and very thick. Almost as thick as 4oz. I do not understand how it is possible? A very thick leather not being stiff at all. I own several piece from each of the major maker (Aero,LW, Ect.) None are as pliable as this one. The one HH that does come close is a nice older Pegasus I was able to pry out from a dear forum member. Lastly, The lining is so nice. Very "silky" LOL. This jacket, did not have much used because some pocket linings are in mint condition. My only concern with this jacket is the zipper. in the 50s very few dress up jackets came with #10 zippers. This jacket is very heavy. It will require a new zipper if you are not gentle with it.

It’s stunning! The color of the hide against that emerald green liner is just beautiful! I’ve become quite enamored with the long Halfbelt. Just a great style all around imho.
