Buzz Rickson B-10 flying jacket project.

I'll probably scare a few of the guys out there who haven't tried this before. But I'm thinking of changing the mouton collar on my Buzz Rickson RoughWear B-10 flying jacket.

It's currently a golden rust colour. I'm looking at putting a vintage off white collar on it. They did exist gents. Just not that many of them.

So what are your thoughts on this, on the colour change. Bear in mind that the photo below was taken a few years back, so the cotton sateen has really bleached out and faded, as has the AAF decal.

Doesn't one of the Japanese makers reproduce a B-10 like that? RM maybe? I recall an LSL model.

Pale collar B-10

Yes, Real McCoy's (McCoy's Toys) has had a version like Paddy's photograph in its catalogue for a few years. They call it 'White Mouton'.
