Buying a B3!

Hey folks,

Setting aside the historical accuracy of the reproduction, are there any significant differences in quality between a B3 from Eastman, Aero, Cockpit USA, and FiveStar? I'm only speaking about the quality here. What about the leather and fur? Any insights on this?

Setting aside the historical accuracy of the reproduction, are there any significant differences in quality between a B3 from Eastman, Aero, Cockpit USA, and FiveStar? I'm only speaking about the quality here. What about the leather and fur? Any insights on this?

I have 3 Aero shearlings and had 4 shearling from FiveStar. The fur on some of the 5* jackets was less dense and the leather was much thinner on all of them.
At that time the shearlings from 5* were also cheaper than they are now. They may have improved in the meantime.
I can't say anything about Eastman and Cockpit. But I am convinced by my Aeros.
