Hello FL,

first time posting here I hope this is appropriate.

I used to work at a Panama hat company and have come to acquire tons of samples over the years. I am currently clearing storage space and came upon several boxes of samples of Ecuadorian Woven Panama hats that I’ve stored. I will be transparent that most of these are damaged or unfinished (missing sweatband and/or hatband). However I will say that from what I can tell there are some gems in there that could be worth restoring, including some getting close to Montecristi quality.

From what I can tell there are about 40+ straw hats including a few felt hats.

I am asking for $200 + shipping for these hats.

I emailed him right away as soon as the listing went up but no response so far. Sometimes my spidey senses get engaged and I back off.....I am leaning hard that way right now.

I just sent a hat to Russia...something I normally wouldn’t do (I list my items for contiguous US only). However, the buyer was an infrequent member but someone I had messaged before, and seemed like my kind of people. I took the chance and it worked out...other than the 1 1/2 hours I was at the post office waiting in line.
I’m with you on this deal. My threshold for risk isn’t this high.
