Hello ! I'm a big fan of the J-31 ... I haven't found a lot of information about this jacket, could someone educate me please ?
RMC had done a great repro in 2008 and Freewheelers does a version as well, any feedback ? Diamond Dave as well ?

Thanks in advance !

Oooh! The back - or pillion - pockets! Right, forgot about these. :D So the big chrome plated buttons are just for style? Man, it's even got a decorated busboy collar! I don't know whether it's the jacket that I dislike more, or the fact that I'm gonna be obsessed with it in about two weeks time.

Dave's looks fine because the jacket is folded like a lapel. But I'm not too keen on the top pic without the leather being folded over.

FYI, Freewheeler's repro is not a Buco but a Leathertogs.

I kinda like it.... but probably not as much as the price tag probably would require! ;)

It would look pretty cool on the back of a bike, not wholly out of place if you were going for that Ton-Up / 59 Club look.

 Happens round here, doesn't it?

lol it does look kinda odd unzipped...

That was my big question. It actually doesn't look as ungainly as I thought it might. Different than the lancer front I'm used to, but not unwearably odd looking. Be interesting to see it without the buttons. I asume those big chrome buttons were put in for style, to replicate earlier jackets that had an atual button-fastening.

Think this is a repro of an original WW2 jacket.
