I don't know much about this style, though I have seen others
on the Lounge. It appears to me to be something like the
Stetson "3 Way". You can wear it as a homburg (shown pinched,
but pops out, too):
Or as a snap brim fedora:
Classic 2 1/4" tall Cavanagh bow (shown with flash to get detail, if not color):
Size 7 1/2, brim about 2 1/2" (a bit hard to measure since
it has such a strong curl). It fits on my 7 1/2 LO head just
a touch tight, so I'd say it's a true 7 1/2, not long oval.
This hat is in very nice condition. The felt is a bit stiffer
and thinner than I usually associate with Cavanagh. Plenty dense, though.
A really nice hat, just not my style.
