British Belt-Back 'Hiker-Golfer' jacket - Size 40(?)

British belt backs are rare enough, but I imagine unlined leisure jackets are even rarer.

It will be very interesting to see what price this fetches.

Cotton jackets just like this (but without the belt) are really quite common. The belt makes it rarer, as does the label suggesting it's for sporting purposes. As rare as any other British belt-back!

BK: Out of interest, what date would you put on this one? The vendor has it listed as 1920s (which seems about right to me). But I'm sure they've edited the listing, I thought they originally listed it as forties or fifties.

Hard to tell. Pretty typical button stance for a 30s/40s/50s jacket. Most of the Poplar Brand stuff I've seen has been 50s, tbh.

This one. It was not originally a BIN auction, and I'd say the seller accepted someone's lowball BIN proposal.

That is lovely. Exactly the sort of thing I need in my wardrobe. Luckily, since it's already sold, it would have been a bit small for me anyway. Thanks for letting me know.

Sold for £125. Knowing how rare british belt-backs are, i thought this might go higher.
