Anyone here familiar with the sizing on these old jackets? Do they fit similarly to the brooks cafe racers (small), generally true to size, or oversized?

I find the Brimacos are generally true to size- the ones I've owned anyway. I usually wear a size 42, and a Brimaco size 44 is too big in chest and length. A Brimaco size 42 fits just right.
The measurements on my size 42 are approximately:
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19 “
Shoulder seam to end of cuff: 25.5"
Armpit to armpit:22.5"
They're nice jackets- I've found some models are thicker leather than others.

Be careful about the sleeve length. I've had several Brimaco cafe racers where the sleeve has run in the 23" range.

Thanks! Was looking at a tag size 36 Brimaco online and wondering (hoping) if it might fit a little big, so that someone with a size 38 chest might be able to wear it. Sounds like it would be too small. Too bad.
