Brim Cutter?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. Located in Berlin, Germany and I only do classic western hats.
I just love them so much and showing Quarter Horses my whole life, it matches what I love and do.
Currently I started to do my own hats matching my Show-Apparel and now I'm on the hunt for materials and all I need...
So does anyone know where I can get a affordable brim cutter?
I hope its ok to ask because I'm still a rookie and I'm sure there is still a lot to learn.
My teacher does traditional Germany hats which is awesome too, but there is a lot of differences in the making. So I still have a lot to learn! And I hope I can ask some amazingly inspiring people here?!!

I definitely recommend Rick Walker of Phoenix Hat Company, (humanshoes). I use his brim cutter on all of my hat projects and it has never failed me...

Rick's brim cutters does a nice crisp job: Pictured is a 4X Stetson Longhair Western conversion.

By now I'm still cutting by hand...how I learned to do it but its not the easiest way.

I own one made by Rick here in the Lounge...his moniker is Humanshoes. It is well made and easy to use. It uses the larger more robust cutting blades rather than the much smaller eXacto blades and I find they work better. He is also much less expensive than most others out there in the marketplace. He makes 2 sizes, one cuts up to 5" brims and the other up to 7" brim widths. If you are in the market for a brim curling shackle check out the one made by GuyMorseBrown out of the UK. I love mine.
I purchased my blocks from the Etsy.com site HatBlocksPoland. Great quality at the best price I could find.

Thank you Melk! I owe it all to my handy dandy Rick Walker brim cutter! ...and to my RA block, my "Rockwater" band block, and my vintage 2 3/4 inches 810 brim flange, to name a few...

The curled brim was done on a vintage 810 snap brim flange.

Oh, I know those on etsy. HatBlocksPoland. They are great and not too far from Germany. My teacher had some hatblocks from them. But we do our hatblocks by ourselfs here in Berlin luckily. So if anyone needs something special, I can make it...

I wanted to give you an update about my brim cutter situation.
I had to be offline for a while since one of my horses was sick and that meant a lot of nightshifts in the barn.
But he is upwell now and doin fine!

I got such nice offers for brim cutters, but living on a tight budget right now as I do work in the event industry...so no jobs for a long time, I had to to forego unfortunately. But only FOR NOW. I'll be back and fill up the shopping carts.

But having a very talented hubby he made me one for a 4 inch brim. I wanted to show you...proudly. As it just works perfectly.
Of course its now adjustable (yet) but it works great.
So I wanted to show you real quick

Does this mark the felt or does it cut it as well? How is the marker or the blade held in place? Looks great BTW.
