Ok fellow Fedoras!! Here are a few shots of my new(vintage) Borsalino Misto grey. it is a size 6-7/8 and is in MINT condition!! I cannot see where any marks of being worn are located. Not a mark. A beautiful fur-felt fedora.From the white inside tag,i assume 1947.The best part about this deal from an ebayer: I paid only $18!! Yes,$18. received it in two days. Can you say "deal"!!!!!????
It is my first real vintage hat as the other Borsas i have are from the last 40 years.I now have a brown 1950's style stingy brim,a black Homburg ,and this new Misto.
Anyone else have a Misto??
I'm wearing this tomorrow downtown with my grey lambswool sportcoat and dark grey trousers.And of course,a bow tie. Maybe i will have a few photographs taken.
Impressions?Any ideas about history of this hat??
