Borsalino Cavanagh Edge

Does anyone know when (roughly) Borsalino made its last hats with a Cavanagh edge? I'm trying to get some idea of how old a reconditioned Borso is. The reconditioning is very nice--a new Borso liner, new leather (the leather isn't the best on a Borsalino), etc. Anyway, it has a true Cav edge and I know they haven't been made for some time.

BORSALINO'S CAV EDGE WAS MADE UP UNTIL THE 1960'S . THEY CALLED IT "BORDO DOPPIO" WHICH MEANT DOUBLE EDGE . WHEN THE FACTORY MOVED FROM ALESSANDRIA TO SPINETTA MARENGO IN THE 1980'S , THEY GAVE UP MAKING THESE TYPES OF HATS .
AN EASIER WAY TO DATE THE HAT IS TO LOOK AT THE SIZE TAG . IF IT SAYS "BULAN BUYER" , IT MAY DATE FROM THE 1960'S . A PAPER TAG THAT IS ROUNDED WILL BE FROM THE 1940'S TO THE 1950'S .
BORSOLINO MADE BEAUTIFUL CAV EDGE HATS ,EVEN NICER THAN CAVANAUGH WHICH CREATED THE DESIGN . THE CLOSEST THING TO A CAV EDGE TODAY IS A WELTED EDGE MADE BY MANY FACTORIES ,BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME !

Bordsalino size tags

This one has a size tag with rounded edges. It does have a nice Cavanagh edge, a little lower than the edge on most Cavanaghs. If you know, when did Borso use the cloth tag with the blue outline?
