The thread holding the sweatband of my old Borso has started to go, but unlike akubras and others, there seems to be no structural band at the rim to sew to, in fact it seems that the thread goes diagonally THROUGH THE FELT, now I can't picture a needle that is easily available that would be thin enough to do this, putting aside the delicacy of the entire operation to begin with...anyone else dealt with this problem?
