while i prefer a pointed toe, i find the rounded toe ones attractive too (for a more early 20s 'workwear' look they'd be perfect).
actually, ANY early 20s boots that fit me will be welcome.

i'm also intrigued by the three 'creases' that are stitched (?) behind the toe-cap area on a lot of 20s shoes. any of the shoe collectors have a photo
of a real pair with that detail ?

I always assumed these creases to be folded/pressed into the leather (when still soft) so that the shoe/boot when used will "break in" along these creases.

Not really disappear, but the inevitable "walking folds" will go along these pre-fabricated creases instead of "running wild". I guess this gives the shoe a more orderly appearance even after longer use.

My girlfriend sold some shoes with creases like this not long ago. Pictures are gone on her page, gotta ask her for them later.
