I am not sure if this will be of much interest as it is not vintage but 'inspired by'. Posting it up here as I did not wear it at all this winter.
I had this made about 4 years ago before Bookster went bust. It is a heavy Harris Tweed, grey herringbone with a light blue and brown overcheck.
The jacket is 3 button single breasted with one vent in the back. Two flapped pockets and a chest pocket. The trousers are single english pleated with button adjusters and belt loops. The suit is lined throughout in blue satin. The trousers are fully lined to the knee.
Jacket measurements
Chest P to P 24" x 2 = 48"
Waist 21.5" x 2 = 43" I include this because Bookster have a neat fitting waist. Suppressed is the description
Length 32" Neck seam to bottom
Sleeve 26" Shoulder to cuff
Shoulders 19.5" across the back
Trousers
Waist 18.5" x 2 = 39 with button adjusters which would add another inch
Front Rise 14" from crotch seam to top of waistband
Inside Leg 29.5" with around 0.5" to let down
outside leg 41"
Horn buttons throughout jacket and trousers
The short inside leg limits the appeal but I have a long back and short legs for my height. Apparently good for opera singing, not so much for modelling.
