Black suede Type 3 jean jacket

Do you know a company that produces a high quality black suede type 3 jean jacket?
I already tried on the iron heart and shangri la heritage version. But they dont fit me well. I believe aero offers suede, as well. But only in brown.

Maybe you know more.

Vanson makes a good heavy suede type III

I already tried it on in a shop here. Its a nice jacket. However, I am afraid that changing a few meassurements will be quite expensive.

Suprisingly the shangria suede is even heavier and feels better than the vanson suede.

Sorry I misread the OP.

However, my understanding is that Shangri-La will modify the design for low (possibly no?) cost.

Yes i saw the post. It was the main reason I ordered it. It is a great jacket and the suede is amazing. So far the best one I looked at. But not 100% my size.

Got it. Did you like it enough to try for them to make a modified version to your measurements?

I am on the fence about it. The mto version is 830 Euros. What is holding me back is the design and not the quality. I would love to have a classic type 3 style. They offer a modification of it which I dont prefer+ I think the inner linig is great for 500-600 Euro but not good enough for over 800 Euros.

Ahh I didn’t realize it was that much more to modify it.

Don’t know what the cost would be for import fees etc, but I bet Johnson Leather could produce an awesome one. The truckers on their Instagram look quite nice, and they’ll use pretty much any hide if it can be sourced.

Thanks for the advice. Import taxes are around 20% for leather goods from the US

Just looked at the Shangri-La measurements and dang.

Chest and shoulder are spot on (and pretty typical) for a medium but the sleeve and back length are quite long.

Looks like I’d be in the same boat as you with their off the rack options.

Size is perfect. But no black suede. They are even shipping from Düsseldorf here in Germany. Do you have experience with the quality?

Ask for roughout black goat.
I don’t have personal experience, but many others do.
