Birkdale??

I have had a Birkdale brown fedora for a few years but never had luck with research on it's origins or history.The inside says Birkdale-Eatons of Canada
and the size is 6-7/8. Very nice hat that is in good condition.Brim is a wee bit over 2".
I believe i paid $15 for it.Not too bad for a beginner a few years back.
I tried a search here on the site and found nothing on Birkdale.

Any ideas??

I think is a retailer in Canada. Similar to Sears or Spiegel's. Canadians would know more about this of course. Birkdale appears to be the model name of the hat.
Any labels under the sweatband could tell you more.

The only other labels underneath are the size and serial #.Thats all.Thanks for the info on the retailer.I can try a Google search but always want to try here first.
