I just got an email from Bill's saying that their tax-day sale is on through tomorrow. f you go to Bill'sKhakis.com and click on clearance you'll see them. They have the M-1's in various shades and sizes for about $45.oo.

Forewarned is forearmed and all that, I recall when the company was first sold on a few months ago they had a big sale but a lot of people didn't get what they ordered and had to chase and chase for refunds, hopefully that has been dealt with and things are now working as they should.

I was going to say last time their facebook page was full of complaints so might be worth a look there ahead of ordering but it seems that looks to have been deleted. Be interested to see how things go for those that order.

I made three orders from the Clearance page over about four weeks in March - April and everything went perfectly. Even though they were clearance items, I received them in the full dress Bill's Khakis packaging - well done.

My person view of Bills is that they're overpriced and far over-rated, but lots of people are happy with them.

I really like Bill's and will miss them if they go.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an M1 replacement available in the UK? I especially liked the higher rise offered by the M1.

Judging by some recent threads, it looks like there is not much news about, so I thought I would bump this to see if anyone has some actual advice.
Can anyone point me to a good replacement for Bill's? I am particularly interested in the higher rise of the M1. I am looking to our American brethren here as the UK has been overrun by Italian slim cut low rise trousers. Some retailers do not even offer my size.

Any advice appreciated and must surely be less of a waste of time than some other threads.

Thanks here as well. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the Savanna Poplin from her to go with a pair of brown Thursday boots I just received. Looking forward to them.

It might be worthwhile asking her if she would ship to the UK or the EU for additional shipping charges. I particularly like this 5 pocket jean that is made from Bullard Twill - Bill's 10.2 oz. cotton twill that is a heavier weight fabric than his 8.4 oz Original Twill that put him on the map in the first place. Furthermore, I think the pockets on this particular item are made from 8.4 oz Original Twill as well. I have several of the Bullard 5 pocket jeans that I use in rotation with denim jeans. This specific item is IMO worth 2-3 times her asking price. Before ordering might ask for the inside measurement for the waist - eg. 18" inside measurement for a size 36.

I prefer Bill's Bullard Twill jeans illustrated above to the extent I took my own advice and snapped up this same one in my size! This one and Bill's Bullard Twill field pants are my favorites.

Fanch, thank you for the help and the contact with Mizbb. I have received an email from her and immediately have a good feeling about this. I have a long back and short legs for my height and struggle to find trousers with a long rise. I have ventured down the MTM, and even bespoke, routes with mixed results
