Hi All,
It's time for me to redistribute the hats I am not wearing.
Most of the hats I am selling are 7 3/8 to 7 1/2, some larger,
some smaller. If they fit me, I'm selling them because they are
not my style. Hopefully they're your style and you'll love them.
These are top brand hats and I want to sell them at good prices.
If I wanted top dollar, I'd do the eBay shuffle. I'd rather they
got good homes with Lounge members.
I will do my best to post good pictures (I am not much of
a photographer) and answer questions. The colors on some
of these pictures did not come out great. I'll do my best to
explain. Please send questions
to my Yahoo account: kasa katz AT yahoo .com
(remove spaces and replace "AT" with the symbol). Please do
not post my email address.
I will not handle returns except in extreme circumstances.
I really hate my post office. Also because my post office is
so lame, I will only ship once every week or two, depending on
how many hats have sold.
I will post three hats a week, unless that starts to seem too slow.
The first three are chosen randomly, based on the order in which
I photographed the hats. I may have "theme weeks" ahead.
That said, it's St. Paddy's day, so why not start with a green hat?
This is a 1950s (my best guess) Mallory Aristocrat. This is a thick,
kinda tough hat.. It has a big, doublestitched overwelt. It was
originally purchased at the Mallory store. It would be a great winter hat.
Note that in the 50s revival of the 20s style, the bow is in the rear:
As I recall, it's slightly distorted because I stretched this hat. Note also that
there is a tiny inclusion in the felt above and to the right of the bow.
No big deal and I believe part of the original manufacture.
As you can see, this hat is in pretty nice, clean condition.
This hat fits my 7 1/2 Long Oval head. You want a grey/green hat that can
take anything you can throw at it? This is the hat.
2 1/4" brim
5 1/2"? crown (maybe 5" bashed with the C crown)
$60 plus $15 shipping, continental USA.
Money order or paypal only.
BTW, I have limited experience shipping hats, but as
I recall, this is a fair price. If I notice it's less, I'll lower
the rate for future listings. Of course I know how to
pack a hat, which puts me one up on eBay sellers.

1950s Borsalino. Oh yeah, this is a nice hat. Too bad
the eBay listing had the size wrong or I'd keep it.
