This suit isn't cheap, but boy is it amazing! Before the "peanut gallery" comments about a $1,500 vintage suit, I highly recommend they read this article about the history of the Prandoni House of Tailoring, which gave rise to the modern Milanese cut in the 1920s. The listing is definitely very ... well ... "salesy"

It's interesting how the jacket waist is so defined but the lapels are rather subdued. It seems to me, such a narrow waist would look good offset against dramatically wide lapels.

...although, on the other hand, when compared against shoulders, the lapels seem well balanced. I wonder if the jacket is significantly pinned-in to fit the bust form in the pictures?

i know there isn't one perfect DB suit proportion, but the one on the right is pretty close for me:

the wider lapels and curve to the edge of the lapel ('belly' as some call it) just makes the whole thing that much more harmonious.

To me, big bellied lapels always best when they extend further, particularly when combined with a dramatically suppressed waist. This is what I'm talking about:

It's definitely a beauty,with 2 small problems...wrong size and more $ than I have available
