belt back jumper / sweater - sold

this jumper has a belt back and NRA label which dates it to the early 30s not the 20s as the seller suggests.

i was seriously hoping this jumper might slip under the radar, as it was listed on British ebay, in the women's section and had a starting bid of £2.

no such luck:

interestingly, the other one with similar age but more basic style, sold for £2.20

Yes. I saw the belted one going through the "see seller's other items", having seen the other (according to you boring) one in the men's section.

This one would have had the American football collectors salivating. Sports memorabilia, and particularly stuff this old, has a very large following. Also in a reasonable size and wearable condition.

Pile of ties, 40s-60s, and a bunch of old wooden hangers. There was also a stack of old fishing hooks and a few old baccy tins which I took to hold buttons. I guess someone was renovating a house and found this stuff in the attic or shed, and dumped it in the street.
