Belstaff TT

Found this at an auction last week, and grabbed it even though I'm not a bike rider, the badge from the TT races is dated 1986, but how old is the jacket? I see 'vintage' Belstaffs going for huge amounts on ebay, was this worth getting? The zip is a bulky black YKK. size is about 42 so it fits me, but as I said, of no real practical use, so onto my market stall it goes I think.

No idea how much it's actually worth, but if I was a biker I would be willing to pay a heck of a lot for it right off the bat. That thing is cool.

P.S. You don't have to actually be a biker in order towear a biking jacket. ;) You might look pretty good in it...

Oh, I'm sorry to say that that is absolutely worthless!

Look at how soiled and wrinkled it is. And all those old patches don't do anything to keep out the rain.

I'll give you my address so you won't have to be embarrassed being seen taking it out to the trash.

It's awesome.....

The label (the bird's head is the point), lining and zip combo was used on Trailmasters from the early 1970s.

This example may be worth an amount in the USA, but it wouldn't attract much notice where they were made (my home town)!

They're easy to come by there? You could probably earn some pocket money picking them up and selling them to loungers.

They were made in Longton for around forty years. They're not exactly 'thin on the ground' there as Bestaff had a factory shop.

Sorry, money doesn't motivate me and I've learned my lesson trying to do favours for Loungers, thank you.

If you want good vintage Belstaff (and Barbour) items - at a price - I can recommend Yorkshirecountyman on eBay.uk.
