Before I Die...

-Have my portrait painted (a real one, not a caricature!)
-Learn French
-Start a food fight
-Fly first class
-Find real love...but I think that's on every gal's list!

I want to fall in love, even if I have my heart broken, but I am not sure I want ttrue ever lasting love. I think I just need to know what it's like.

Of course finding my one true love and being together forever would be the most romantic and best thing, But never having been in love at all really sucks.

Before I kick

I want to be the lounge pianist on the Orient Express

I want to learn to read music well enough to play Chopin, flawlessly

I want to learn the art of forgiveness

I want to see the Northern Lights

I want custom-made shoes

I want to meet all of you in person

Move back to the desert and spend my time painting and writing and thinking

Take some more trips with good friends

- Spend the day adrift in a hot air balloon over gorgeous countryside
- visit Switzerland
- scale Roraima
- own horses
-move to Maine or back to Minnesota

Number one though is finding a man that will love me, and says/acts so(and doesn't just play mind/emotion games), and that I will love in return.

The desert reeks havoc with my allergies, but I love it at night. I've never seen the stars like that.

So, all of you have to come to the desert and visit me, I will be there in my studio painting and drawing and sculpting (am now taking a sculpturing class at the Des Moines Art Center).

We can all take hikes and look at the starts, you are right deadpandiva, the stars are profuse and magnificent. I have no allergies at all in the desert and, so far (knock on wood), none here.

I don't know what desert yet, but would be: Joshua Tree area or the Anza Borrego in Southern California, or the Tucson area, or....?

But, first I have to endure the snows and storms of Iowa so that my sweet old mother is not alone in her extreme old age. Couldn't get her to budge from her home....

Oh, I totally forgot: before I die, I would like to live to at least the midnight hour of 12/22/12 just to see if Doomsday happens on the 21st.

If it does, I will have plenty of company when I croak.

....I'd like to continue down this path(as I've gotten older) of finally realizing and appreciating how wonderful the blessings I have right now,truely are. Lessening the temptation for always wanting more with a preoccupation of how great life could be...only if............

Before I die

1) Spend the summer working at the annual national matches at Camp Perry,Ohio.
2)Rent a red convertible and go on a long road trip with my brother.
3)Spend a summer traveling around central Spain and southern Italy.
4)Tour the great deserts:eusa_clap of the world.

There are many, many things I plan to accomplish in life. Probably too many, but we shall see.

- Become a sought-after photographer.
- Attain a black belt in at least two martial arts.
- Spend several months traveling the Middle East, and the next year doing the same in Europe.
- Reshape my personality into one of easy confidence; that is, the ability to speak blunt truth and yet do it in such a way that does not offend.
