Saw it on ebay, got a message from the owner. He is a TFL member, so we made a deal. Jacket arrived today then I found out the original pattern jacket came from another TFL member. Small jacket world.

I don't know about Beck jackets. I'm not sure what model this one is based on. I did get an inquiry several months ago about a Beck 666. I had never heard of the model.

I'm sure readers will educate me.

This jacket has no size tag. I estimate a 46 since it feels a bit big on me. I typically wear a 44. Maybe it just the style of jacket. I'm use to more form fitting cafe racers. The seller wears a 42, so too big for him. He had an opportunity and tried it on.

I would estimate 3 ounce Horween Horsehide. Nice weight. Has a vintage look and feel.

Additional pictures here.

Great CR TM! I do believe Schott is the original maker of all Beck jackets (which were rebranded and sold under the Beck label and later Beck Arnley). Fit looks good to me! Enjoy it!

What time frame are these? I was thinking of Bates when I mentioned California in the video. I'm pretty easily confused!

As far as I know, the only maker of Beck jackets during the period they were produced (origin to the late 70’s) was Schott. Bates morphed from ABC leathers, which was an offshoot of Bell Helmets. I don’t believe Bates, nor ABC, ever produced leathers that were rebranded for dealerships, as Beck (Schott) and Harley Davidson (Buco/Brooks) were. Dang that’s a lot of parentheses. But that’s my understanding anyway.

Thanks for the info. With every jacket comes an education.
