Beautiful Wormser ending on ebay

Another one going cheap - didn't hit reserve last time.

Even with very minor mothing, this is a tremendous hat. If a lounger gets it for under $70 and has any regrets, I'll do a full refund. I'm starting to wonder if my auctions have cooties.

Well...I still have it. I don't ship internationally on ebay sales, and somehow this bidder got through. I called ebay to discuss and everything was set up correctly so that he shouldn't have been able to bid. The bidder was a guy who has sent me emails in the past that simply said "How much to ship to France?". Each time I tell him that I don't ship to France. This time he didn't ask. My listings are very clear about bidding requirements, so I put in a cancel notice and he rejected it. Here's the interesting thing - the issue was handled by ebay France, so everything was in French. He refused the transaction cancellation and told me to ship it immediately, and even told me how I would be shipping it.

So it's back in the closet. Very unusual hat situation for me in that it fits and looks great, but it's just TOO nice - I would need a very nice suit to pull it off, either navy or brown. I have one suit - pitch black - for funerals and weddings.

I'd give you what he bid on it, provided you still guarantee the refund-over-any-regrets arrangement. The only regret I can imagine would be if it did not fit me (I am beginning to think I may be a 7 1/8 LO, but my uncertainty kept me from bidding).

It looks like a very sharp hat. What say you?
