I've decided to sell my vintage Battle of Britain Era Irvin.
As you can see from the pics, the fleece is a nice golden shade and the skin is a beautiful shade of chestnut showing wonderful wear and patina. Zippers are the double trunnion Dot zip type (marked AM) and in perfect working order with no missing teeth.
There is a tear on the right shoulder although this could be repaired to make it unnoticeable. There is also a very small tear on the left shoulder which would probably benefit from some preventative mending as well. Original hanging chain is present although needs to be re-linked. Parachute strap on collar is present although needs restitching on one side as come undone.
Measurements are as follows:
Shoulder - 20' from edge to edge at rear of jacket (not at seam).
Chest - 22.5' (not including gusset)
back from neck seam - 23.5'
Arm - 25'
Selling for £675 + postage (PayPal friends and family). No returns. Based in London UK
