Large size vintage Bates Cafe Racer Competition weight Heavy Supple Quality Leather made with fine detailing and stitching consistent with early Bates jackets. The leather is clean well hydrated, supple no tears or loose stitching. All zippers and saps are 100%. Unique size adjustment with a double main zipper to allow for layering or weight change.
Bates' great achievement in the 1960s was to turn the all-black raceway gear of the time into a bright color. Motorcycle champions like Mert Lawwill and Kenny Roberts wore Bates racing suits in the 1960s through the 80s. Relive history with this custom-designed Bates jacket.
