Baron K's Atomic Tie Wonderland

Well, the title pretty much sums it up. I have a lot of 1950s ad some 60s that will be right up your alley if you're into 1950s ties. Which i'm not, so here they are on sale. I would love to sell these as a lot. I will hold these for 2 days to see if someone wants them as a lot, then sell them to people who want them individually should no-one want them as a lot. But please, if you want them individually lodge interest early.

EDIT EDIT: Please refer to the code of the ties you're interested in wen you PM. Sorry, i should have had this in place before i started. Code is number and letter (1A 2C etc.)

First 3 are Terylene and British; 2.50 GBP each:

1A 1B 1C

Sounds like a swell theme park! You should sell souvenir clothing that says, "My parents went to Baron K's Atomic Tie Wonderland, and all I got was this lousy dickie..."

Fine ties, too. Especially the blue one in the middle. How much for the whole shebang, Milord?

T.

The first two are obviously from the same series and are sold as a pair for 10 GBP. The lighter one has some colour imperfection. The far right is 3.50 GBP.

And this one is just wonderful. Anyone familiar with female wardrobe from 1930s movies knows who Adrian is. Well, after giving up on movie wardrobes Adrian did various things including his own label - check out wikipedia.

This tie is one of Adrian's designs fro the early 1950s. no longer available. Extremely rare, and very very high quality.

40 GBP gets the lot (16), except the Adrian tie, which is only available on it's own. Of course, you can buy the lot, and the Adrian, for 60 GBP total.

bk

The question is - should I splash out on these, or wait for the 40s ties to be listed?!

Both!!!!! he he.

Please note, everyone, the code system i've instituted (see first post) for these ties.

How many 40s ties, and how much for the whole, whole lot? I really need some new neckwear; most of my ties are horrid.

Well, i would consider every tie above to be horrid. (excepting the Adrian, and 2B).

There will be 15 1940s/very early 50s ties. Most are pristine, are what i consider disgusting - but most people seem to find appealing, not appalling - and will be in the 7.50-10 GBP range. Haven't decided on a "lot price" yet. But probably on the order of 10-15% discount, like the lot above.

UPDATE. Adrian tie no longer available, but i'll leave the pics up for those interested. I've decided to hold onto it. It's too much of a collectors piece for me to part with (and strangely for a 50s tie, i actually like it).

You might want to work on that sales patter, Baron!

I'll hold up until you list the 40s ones, then - if no-one's snagged these ones by then, maybe we can negotiate? There are a few here I like the look of - 2A, 4C, the pair 6A and B; but if someone else wants the lot I'm willing to step back and wait.

I'm now taking offers for the ties individually, since no-one wanted them as a lot. See below for which ones are still available:

1A (2.50 GBP) 1B (2.50 GBP) 1C (2.50 GBP)
