For what it's worth...
On the 15th of July I took my Tan Open Road to Baron's for a cleaning/blocking up one size and a new sweatband as the old one had dryed and rotted with age.
I was told it would take a couple weeks. After 3 weeks I called them. No dice.
5 weeks later I finally get it back.
The cleaning is fine.
The blocking is fine.
I requested a brown band because that is what was being taken out and I like the vintage look of the brown bands. I got it back with a black one in it.
After the hat was cleaned and blocked the liner was glued in crooked!
I didnt complain because I wanted the hat for a trip to Mexico that I was leaving on two days later.
Do what you will with this information but for me I will never again give these guys any business.
Too bad, this place is only 10 minutes from my house.
Did I mention, the guy behind the counter would obviously rather be somewhere else than helping a customer?!
Think I'll send my work to Art from now on.
