Barbed wire marks

Curious how you all feel about barbed wire marks in your leather jackets. My Vanson that I bought used has them, though I didn’t know what they were until I stopped at Langlitz a few days ago to check out some riding pants.

These are the ones I see the most as they are on the forearm. To be honest, I didn’t like them until I found out what they were.

I have them on my Vanson too, doesn’t bother me in the least. What it tells me is that although it’s top grain it’s very close to full grain.

Adds character. I find my tolerances of this sort of thing are a lot higher with brown rather than black leathers, fwiw.
